A bit of Fernando Pessoa in celebration of National Poetry Month:

Rather the flight of the bird passing and leaving no traceThan creatures passing, leaving tracks on the ground. The bird goes by and forgets, which is as it should be.The creature, no longer there, and so, perfectly useless,Shows it was there — also perfectly useless.Remembering betrays Nature,Because yesterday’s Nature is not Nature,What’s past is nothing and remembering is not seeing.Fly, bird, fly away; teach me to disappear!

A bit of Fernando Pessoa in celebration of National Poetry Month:

Rather the flight of the bird passing and leaving no trace
Than creatures passing, leaving tracks on the ground.
The bird goes by and forgets, which is as it should be.
The creature, no longer there, and so, perfectly useless,
Shows it was there — also perfectly useless.

Remembering betrays Nature,
Because yesterday’s Nature is not Nature,
What’s past is nothing and remembering is not seeing.

Fly, bird, fly away; teach me to disappear!

I’m Glad I’m a Boy! I’m Glad I’m a Girl!

Here’s an old school kids book.  Wonderfully politically incorrect but cute none the less.  “I’m Glad I’m A Boy! I’m Glad I’m A Girl!” by Whitney Darrow (1970) is now out of print (for obvious reasons) but if you really want it, I’m sure you can find it somewhere for an outrageous price.

Thank you http://izismile.com/2009/04/27/im_glad_im_a_boy_im_glad_im_a_girl_14_pics.html
